The Oprah Winfrey Charitable Foundation (“OWCF”) is committed to providing an optimal user experience for everyone. To this end, we are committed to achieving and maintaining full accessibility for its website. Our goal is for our website to be accessible for people with disabilities.
To achieve this, OWCF works with a web accessibility consultant, where we regularly test OWCF’s website using assistive technologies, including screen readers. We perform tests to the standards defined in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level AA criteria, bringing OWCF’s website into conformance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
Our process of testing and remediation is ongoing. We test with multiple device combinations and a variety of assistive technologies. We strive to achieve the highest level of accessibility. However, this website includes third-party elements that are not fully accessible. Remediation has been performed where possible, but some users may experience issues when accessing certain pieces of content.
We understand that occasional issues may arise for a particular user due to the ever-changing web landscape and the variety of assistive technologies available. Should this happen to you, please get in touch with us at OWCF_Inquiries@harpo.com and specify the location and nature of the issue. We will try to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
